Code of Conduct

At District Tango, we are deeply committed to creating a safe, welcoming space for all dancers, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability and gender identity or expression. We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful and inappropriate (verbal or non-verbal) behaviors, such as harassment of any form (including sexual harassment and sexual assault) and discrimination or retaliation of any kind.

We will take immediate action to address the behaviors that violate this Code of Conduct. Individuals who engage in harassing behavior will face immediate consequences at the discretion of District Tango management, including but not limited to removal from events, reporting to the general tango community, and contacting the law enforcement authorities.

If you have been a victim of, or witness to harassment of any sort, please report such incidents to the event host. Reports can also be made via email to districttango@gmail.com. All information will be kept confidential.

Attendance at any District Tango event indicates acceptance of this Code of Conduct.
